1 John 4: 7-16

INTRDUCTION:

The message of God’s love is so simple to understand that it was designed so that even a child understands it, the one who has not understood it is because he has not met him and not knowing him can not live in something unknown.

Our earthly life is an example of our life in God, it has its beginning at birth, we love but we do not know what we love, then we have reason and we know who we love and by acquiring that knowledge we live as the person we love.

BORING OF WATER AND SPIRIT
In the Gospel of John we find an example of a man to whom Jesus first told him that he had to be born again to inherit eternal life, (John 3: 1) this man, although he knew part of God’s will, was Doctor of the law, did not live with certainty that he was the possessor of that life which spoke his law. The Bible says that our soul was dead in trespasses and sins (Ephesians 2: 1) when we heard the Word and responded to the call by receiving the life of Christ in us the Holy Spirit engendered spiritual life and we began to live a new life (2 Corinthians 5:17), when Jesus said that it was necessary for him to be born from the water he was referring to a general cleansing by the Word and the very blood that He would have to shed, and by the spirit that it was necessary for there to be an engendering by the Holy Spirit to To live in a life dependent on the Spirit and not on the flesh, here we see the New Birth, but everything does not end here, but here we begin:

KNOWING GOD
God is the only being that as humans we could never know him, but he has given us some means to perceive at least part of his personality and his will for us, one of the qualities and that without a doubt is the essence of his Nature is Love (1 John 4: 8), this precious gift is the climax of a true life in God and is the evidence of knowing God, Jesus said the world would know that we were His disciples not because of qualities that we strive for (John 13:35). Therefore, the apostle John stresses that the one who does not love does not know God because God is Love, when do we really know a person? To know Somebody first has to be able to discern and know how to use our senses with which we relate to others, it is here when we establish a personal relationship: we know the tastes, the gestures, the weaknesses, the qualities, etc. This is achieved only Cua We live with this person and we relate daily, so it is necessary to know his Word, which is his will, and talk with him in prayer.

III. Living in God Knowing God begins the desire to be or imitate the qualities of God is here when a life similar to what God begins in 1 John 2: 6 says: “He who says that he abides in him must walk as He walked “here we find a way to continue putting our eyes on the footprints that Jesus left us to get to where he is, how did Jesus live? It is clear that he lived a life dependent on the father (John 5:30) a life of obedience to the Father, love is the engine that moves us to obedience and is the vehicle that carries many virtues, in this is fulfilled all Law both of Moses and of Christ that is the culmination of the First, God’s will is the First and great Commandment: “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and all your forces and your neighbor As yourself. “

CONCLUSION:

We have given a little focus to what is the New Life in Christ that sometimes seems so complicated, that it is indeed complicated for our fleshly nature, but if His Word says that His commandments are not burdensome, in another word it is not A burden when we live for God as Jesus did.
