DECLARATION OF FAITH

Pentecostal Church John 14:6

The Pentecost Church John 14: 6 (Juan 14:6)

Follows the following fundamental doctrines

1. That the Bible is the infallible and inspired Word of God. It contains the complete plan of man’s redemption and is the ultimate authority for ethics and conduct. (2 Timothy 3: 15-17, 2 Peter 1: 19-21, John 5:30).

2. In one God and the eternal existence of the three; Divine persons revealed as: Father, Son, Holy Spirit, (three different persons, one essence, one whole) Deuteronomy 6: 4; Psalm 83:18; Matthew. 28:19; Mark 12:29; John 15:26

3. In the virgin birth of Christ which is in regard to his incarnation was begotten by the Holy Spirit. Isaiah.7: 14; Matthew 1: 18-20; Luke 1:35; John 1: 1-14; 1 Timothy 3:16

4. That the consequence of the fall are the total depravity of man and physical and spiritual death. Psalm 14: 2,3; Romans 3: 10-19; 5:12; Ahem. Romans 1: 18-32.

5. In the death of Jesus Christ on the Cross was a vicarious and expiatory sacrifice in his bodily resurrection and his ascension to the heavens where he intercedes for the redeemed by his blood. 1 Peter 1: 18-19; 2:24; Gó1atas 3:13; 1 Corinthians 15: 3-16; Romans 4:25; Acts 1:11; Hebrews 1: 3.

6. That Regeneration and Justification are effected by faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 5: 1; 3: 25-26; Galatians 3:24; Titus 3: 5; Acts 10:43; 1 Corinthians 6:11; John 1: 11-13; 2 Corinthians 5:17; 1 Peter 1:23.

7. In the necessity and reality of repentance as a step to Salvation. Mark 1:15; Acts 3:19. 20:21; 2 Corinthians 7:10.

8. That the marriage God designed for all life (until death, separate it) with the explanation that Christ left in Matthew 5: 31-32; 19: 6,9; Mark 10: 19.

9. In baptism with the Holy Spirit as experience and endowment of power for an effective ministry and witness. Acts 2: 4; 10: 44-46; 15: 8-9; Luke 24:49; John 14: 16-26; John 7: 38-39; Matthew 3:11.

10. In which gifts, fruits and ministries are for the church from birth until it is taken away. 1 Corinthians 12; 14:26; Galatians 5: 22-23; Ephesians 4:11.

11. In which divine healing (healing of the Body) is included in the atonement. Isaiah 53: 4-5; Matthew 8: 16-17; James 5:14; Acts 10:38; Mark 16:18.

12. In fasting, prayer and vigils are essential to keep our vessel in the best conditions to be used by the Holy Spirit. Acts 13: 1-2; Matthew 6:17; Luke 5: 15-17; Acts 10: 9.

13. Baptism in water is by immersion, subsequent to conversion and not as an act to be saved; And must be done in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Matthew 29:19; Ahem. Matthew 3:16; Acts 8: 38-39.

14. The Holy Supper, to be held as often as it may be. 1 Corinthians 11:26; Acts 2:42; Matthew 26: 26-29.

15. In the literal return of Christ and visible as His ascension (second coming) Acts 1: 9-11; John 14: 3. In that there will be two appearances of Christ in his return. “The first to his own exclusively to snatch them. -The second to execute judgment on the ungodly 1 Thessalonians 4: 15-17; Daniel 9:27.

16. The resurrection of the bodies of the saints to be effected when the Lord returns by his church and the resurrection of the wicked that will be after the great tribulation to be judged on the white throne. Revelation 20: 2-3; Zechariah 14: 9-20; Jude 1: 14-15; 2 Thessalonians 4: 16-17.

17. In sanctification.

  • As an instantaneous act in acquiring salvation, possessive. 1 Corinthians 1: 2a
  • As a natural progressive experience of growth susceptible to increase (sanctity of life) 1 Corinthians 1: 2b.
  • As a future experience, guaranteed in glorification. John 17:15; 1 Thessalonians 4: 3; Hebrews 2: 1-11; John 1:17; Hebrews 12:14; 13; 12; Luke 1: 74-75; 1 Peter 1: 16.

18. Salvation and condemnation are both eternal. Matthew 25: 41-46; Revelation 20:10; 12 and that physical death does not alter in the least.

19. In which the heavens will be waste and new heavens and new earth will arise where eternity will pass in the presence of God Himself. Revelation 21: 1-2; 1 Peter 3: 10-13.

20. In hell (lake of fire) will be the place of those who rejected the plan of redemption guaranteed on the cross of Calvary Revelation 20:15.
