KNOWING GOD

Pentecostal Church John 14:6

I'm glad you're visiting

this part of our site!

Perhaps it was the mere curiosity that brought him here or some genuinely genuine desire to know God who believed him and loved him.

Please consider the words that have been written. I am only a messenger. This is the wonderful message of the God you are considering to know deeper.

I hope in these moments to see these truths that can change your life for eternity.

Realize that you are a sinner

No matter how good the life we try to live, we still fall short of being a good person. This is because we all sin.

We all lack God’s desire to be saints. The Bible says, “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one” (Romans 3:10). This is because we can not be who we should be without Jesus Christ.

Jesus died on the cross for you

The Bible tells us, “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5: 8).

This is the good news, God loves us so much that He sent His only son to die in our place when we least deserved it.

Repent of your sin

The Bible tells us, “Repent ye therefore, and be converted …” (Acts 3:19).

The word repent means to change our direction in life. Instead of running away from God, we can run to Him.

Receive Jesus Christ in your life

Being a Christian is not simply believing a certain creed or going to church on Sunday. It is to have Christ Himself in your life and heart. Jesus said, “Behold, I stand at the door (of your life) and knock: if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with me.” (Revelation 3:20).

If you want to have a relationship with Christ, simply repeat this prayer out loud and believe it with all your heart.

Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. I believe that You died for my sins. Now, I turn my back on my sins and open the door of my heart and my life. I confess you as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank you for saving me. Amen.

If you did this prayer and believe it with all your heart, Jesus Christ has now taken residence in your heart! Your decision to follow Jesus Christ means that God has forgiven you and you will spend eternity in heaven. The Bible tells us that, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1: 9).

To put your faith into action, be sure to spend time with God by reading the Bible, praying, going to church, and speaking to others about Christ
